Staff Appreciation is a BUSY committee, and does a variety of events throughout the year, such as:
-Welcome Back School Luncheon
-Two Parent / Teacher Conferences Dinners, Fall and Spring
-Thanksgiving Week Gifts & Treats for Staff to show our thanks
-Staff Appreciation Week, typically the first week of May which includes personalized gift bags, with so many wonderful items donated by businesses and parents including pens, notepads, sharpies, paper clips, many different snack foods and candy, coffee mugs, and coupons for free items; we host a treat day in the middle of the week with homemade desserts and drinks in the teachers lounge for all the staff. We then end the week with a full lunch for all of the staff.
-Throughout the week, we have prize drawings each day for items that range from $25 gift certificates to local businesses, to foursomes of golf at local golf courses, to a weekends night stay at the Westin hotel. Each staff person receives a prize during that week. The prizes which are valued at over $5,000, and are donated by local businesses and generous RV parents. It is a monumental task each year to spoil our RV staff so very well and we love to do it!
-Academic Awards night for the students in the fall.
